Leadership of Women in Communities

Ms Phonsee, Khmu ethnic minority, lives in Viengphoukha district, Luangnamtha province; she married and got 2 daughters living together. Phonsee is a head of village women union, she only finished grade  2 secondary school and dropped out to marry his husband. Phonsee is assigned as head member committee responsible for village development fund supports by LWF, she is given training and monitoring to ensure effective functioning of the fund and most use of this intervention. Phonsee has been demonstrating strong performance in leading this, she understands and knows how to manage the fund, prioritizing and controlling based on regulations of the committees.
