LWF Laos is operating Rights Based Empowerment project in rural ethnic communities of Viengphoukha and Nalae districts, Luangnamtha Province, which is diversity of ethnic minitorities including Khmu, Akha, Muzer, Kui and Hmong that covering 16,000 community members including 8,000 female. The Project focuses on empowerment of local leadership, access to social services and suatainable livelohood, and use of natural resources of the communities.

Vulnerable groups of people including poorest households, women, elderly, children, minors and disability are most focused beneficiaries of the project.
