The Lutheran World Federation (LWF), World Service works in 25 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. LWF Laos has been operating its program in Laos since 2012. The Rights based Empowerment Project is now implementing in Nalae and Viengphoukha districts in Luangnamtha province, in partnership with Rural Development and Poverty Eradication at provincial level. The project is to empower the poor household to reach their full potentials with mainstreaming of gender balance, disability inclusion, ethnicity, HIV AIDS.
