Vacination to Sustainable Livestock

Facilitator is introducing types of vaccine to the villagers

 

LWF Laos RBEP supports technical training to village veterinarians in all target villages to comprehend the major causes contributes to animal killing, treatment supervision skills, prevention and protection inclu ding animal vaccination and use of remedy. The veterinarian is assigned to responsibly taking care of this issue in each village, this veterinarian will provide supervision and recommendations to villagers who needs assistance and obtain update information from district health office.     

Mr Ta-Er, a veterinarian in Akha ethnic village said that ‘‘through this training we understand ways to prevent kill of our animal, types remedy and vaccination skills, this helps to save our animal raising as such in the past it was very difficult to control dead of our animal, we’d only given information from district health office but we didn’t learn skills how to deal with those’’  

Mr Nasavat a technical staff from district forestry office said that ‘‘the villagers need more times to familiar with this practice and we need to help them more closely and regularly especially in very ethnic and indigenous villages. We also need follow up notices of surveillance from the government to update our knowledge and immediate respond at the village level’’  

Ms Sikoe, CEF in Akha ethnic village told ‘‘presently villagers gradually quit eating dead cattle and poultry because they know that could pose infectious diseases to them, they trend to burry at far of their home’’
