As the Lao People's Democratic Republic continues to grow economically, many challenges remain for the rural poor to realize fully some most basic rights: education, livelihoods, public health.

LWF LAOS has been working in Laos since 2012, applying Rights Based Approach (RBA) contributes to poverty reduction of rural ethnic communities in Viengphoukha and Nalae districts, Luangnamtha province, through implementation of Rights Based Empowerment Project (RBEP), focusing on empowerment of local leadership, access to sustainable livelihood and use of natural resources of the community through participatory processes.
